License verification
We cross-reference state license boards. Mismatches are flagged and the badge is withheld until resolved.
Insurance verification
Pros upload a current Certificate of Insurance. We confirm coverage type, limits, and active dates with the insurer.
Identity verification
Government ID + selfie match through our identity partner. Required for all featured pros.
Background check
Optional but recommended — a national criminal record screen reviewed by a third-party agency.

If something's off, we want to know.
Keep it in the inbox
All early conversations happen in-app so we have a record if anything goes sideways. Use a contractor's profile messaging — not text — until you're comfortable.
